If you look at LG’s line-up for the MWC 2012, each phone has its own selling point, 3D, NFC, and quad-core. What LG’s Optimus Vu is selling is probably its large 5-inch display that comes in 4:3 aspect ratio, unlike most touchscreen smartphones. The 4:3 5-inch display offers a tablet-like viewing, making makes viewing documents, books, internet and multimedia contents easier and more comfortable. The screen is based on IPS LCD and has 1024×768 resolution.

The Optimus Vu is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB internal memory. Measuring just 8.5mm thin, the Vu is probably the slimmest LTE phone on the market. It features a 8 Megapixel camera with LED flash, a 1.3 Megapixel front camera, DLNA support, Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi. The 5-inch handset includes built-in QuickClip hotkey that allows users to conveniently capture screenshots and memos with a single push, and it comes with a Rubberdium pen.
