Samsung announced the new Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, which is basically a Note-ized version of the Galaxy Tab 2.0 10.1. To be a Note, the tablet comes with S Pen stylus and the S Note tool that lets combine notes or sketches together with web content, images and other digital media into your own personalized storyboards. The tablet comes with various ready-to-use templates such as meeting minutes, recipe, cards, diary, magazine and more, and is able to digitize hand-drawn geometric shapes using the Shape Match function, which helps users to create more organized idea sketches and storyboards.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Like the Tab 2.0 10.1, the Note 10.1 has a 10.1-inch PLS 1280×800 touchscreen and a 3 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and Full HD video recording. It gets a 2 Megapixel front camera for video chat, instead of VGA camera on the Tab 2.0. The tablet runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz UI. In addition to Samsung Apps, Hubs, and S Pen Experience apps, the Note also comes pre-loaded with Adobe Photoshop Touch and Adobe Ideas.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1 comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models. It supports Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity and has a microSD/SDHC card slot. There are 3G+WiFi and WiFi-only version models. The 3G version supports GPS/AGPS and quad-band GSM/EDGE and quad-band 21Mbps HSPA networks.
