RIM BlackBerry Curve 9350, 9360 and 9370 Smartphones with BlackBerry 7 OS

Following the release of its latest BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Torch handsets earlier this month, RIM has unveiled its latest BlackBerry Curve — the ‘budget’ device that the company promised was on its way. Just like its latest BlackBerry counterparts, the new Curve will sport BlackBerry 7 OS, in addition to near-field communications (NFC) technology.

There are three new Curves in total: the 9350, the 9360 and the 9370. All three devices are identical on the outside, but internally there are some subtle differences. They all pack the same 800MHz processor and 512MB of RAM, but their wireless radios and storage capabilities are slightly different.

The Curve 9350 supports CDMA networks only and has 512MB of on-board storage; the 9360 supports GSM networks only and also has 512MB of on-board; and the 9370 supports both CDMA/EVDO and has Quad-Band EDGE capabilities with 1GB of on-board storage. All three devices have expandable storage up to 32GB with a microSD card. Here’s the full list of specifications:

The devices are set to hit carriers in Canada this month, with a worldwide roll-out planned for September.
